The APICS community is composed of
nearly 60,000 individuals from 20,000 companies worldwide-across all
segments of manufacturing, service, retail, and wholesale
industries. APICS members hold titles from production and inventory
manager and director of global supply chain to vice president of
operations and chief financial officer.
APICS is built around the theory that

Membership:
Corporate membership enables five
employees from your organization to receive full membership benefits
such as:

With corporate membership, all of
your employees at the company site can take advantage of member
discounts. If an individual leaves, the company retains the
membership and names another member.
Group or enterprise membership
enables organizations to provide information and in-depth education
and training to enhance their employees' knowledge and skills.
These memberships packages are customized to meet the specific needs

Enterprise Membership:
APICS enterprise
membership is designed for organizations with 50 or more employees
at more than one location. The APICS enterprise membership enables
your organization to provide training and resources to a broad base
of employees cost effectively. Enterprise members obtain full access
to APICS members-only resources, networking, and customized
benefits.
The membership is
retained by your organization rather than the individual, allowing
your organization to transfer an individual membership to another
employee within the organization at any time. Enterprise members
enjoy the convenience of a single billing contact.
The
enterprise membership has a tiered structure. APICS offers
enterprise members the opportunity to add additional members based
on a sliding scale (illustration below). The current group
membership structure will be phased out and current group members
will transition to enterprise members as memberships come up for
renewal.

Academic
Professional Membership:

Eligibility for APICS Membership:
Academic members are employed full-time by one or more
accredited academic institutions as:

Adjunct professors or consulting
instructors are not eligible for academic membership.
Academic Professional Membership Fee:

Student Membership:
APICS student membership offers full-time students significantly
reduced membership dues while they pursue a degree, at an accredited
college or university–undergraduate or graduate. Regardless of the
number of credit hours taken, a person is not eligible for APICS
Student Membership if employed on a full-time basis.
To qualify, students must complete an application and include the
following with the $25 annual membership dues:
• University/College Name
• Expected Date of Graduation
• A copy or fax of current student ID card
• A copy of a current class schedule/curriculum provided by the
registrar with name of the institution, name of student, and date
including the year
Students can join by

student prospectus

Retired
Membership:
If an individual is 62 or older, is
retired from formal employment, and has been an APICS chapter member
for a minimum of five years, that person is eligible for Retired
Membership. This entitles the member to full individual benefits
while save 50 percent on society dues. Chapter dues are determined
at the discretion of the local chapter president.
Retired membership requires approval
from the member's local chapter president on an annual basis. To
obtain additional information on this type of membership or an

Membership enables five employees

$900 a year. ($600 for APICS International and
$300 for Twin Cities Chapter)

Membership enables full privileges
for only $205 a year. ($150 for APICS
International and $55 for Twin Cities Chapter)

Academic Membership is available for full-time academic
professionals for only $80 a year. ($25 for APICS International
and $55 for Twin Cities Chapter)

Student
Membership is available to
degree-seeking students at accredited colleges and universities.
Only $25 a year. ($25 for APICS International)
- Retired Membership
is available for members aged 62 or older who have been APICS
chapter members for at least five years and are eligible for the
classification. Only $102.50.00 a year. ($75
for APICS International and $27.50 for Twin Cities Chapter--or 50% off
an individual membership)

Extensions of Member Benefits
Unemployed Membership Extension Program:
If you are an unemployed APICS member whose membership is coming
up for renewal and you are actively seeking work within the
production and inventory management field, you may apply for an
extension of membership benefits through the Unemployed Membership
Extension Program.
This program enables members seeking
employment within the production and inventory management industry
to extend their membership for six months free of charge*. If
you meet this criterion and are interested in applying for an
extension of membership benefits due to unemployment, download an
application or contact APICS Customer Support.
*Note: Members may apply for this
extension up to three times for coverage over an 18 month period.
Members apply for the extension through their local chapter, which
must approve the request and waive chapter dues.

Military
Extension of Benefits:
Members called to serve in the military may request a free,
six-month extension of benefits through the Military Benefit
Extension Program. Members whose reserve commitments are
activated qualify for this extension of benefits. To apply, the
application below must be completed, approved by the member's local
chapter president, and returned to APICS Chapter Relations.
