Professional
Development Meetings-Professional
development meetings provide an excellent opportunity for resource
management professionals to keep abreast of the latest techniques
and systems in their industry. Meeting presentations include
sessions relating to the basics and hot topics in today's
workplace. Held monthly, these events provide a means for
networking and the mutual exchange of problems and ideas in the
field of resource management.

Seminars-Chapter
Seminars provide an excellent opportunity for resource management
professionals to gain an in-depth understanding of current
topics. Hosted two or three times a year, these full-day
events pack a lot of learning into one day.

Education &
Certification Programs-The Twin Cities Chapter offers a
wide-range of educational opportunities. In addition to the
PDM's and Seminars, the Chapter offers review courses for our
popular CPIM and CIRM Certification Programs. We also offer
continuing education courses featuring the Fundamentals Program and
Scheduling in a Job Shop Environment. AND . . . You can attend any of these courses at the local community and technical
colleges or host them at your place of business.

Lending
Library-The
Twin Cities Chapter has a library of books and audio tapes
that are available for members to borrow for a small handling
fee.

Local
Learning Communities-The Twin Cities Chapter sponsors local
"Learning Communities". APICS Learning Communities are
communities of practice for APICS professionals who come together
regularly to share and develop ideas, practices, and solutions in
the field of operations management. The goal of APICS Learning
Communities is to provide a tool to enhance knowledge sharing among
APICS members and to strengthen individuals in their work and the
association as a whole.

Student
Chapters-The
Twin Cities Chapter sponsors Student Chapters at local universities
for those students studying in the field of resource management who
would like to get involved with APICS to further their education and
network with member mentors.
If you are interested in setting up a student chapter at your

year the Twin Cities Chapter awards scholarships to students
studying the field of resource management. To learn more about

Community Projects-The
Twin Cities Chapter values being a part of the Community and makes
an effort to give back. If you have a local community project
that would benefit from the assistance of our volunteers and
