Volunteer OpportunitiesAre you interested in getting involved with a great group of people working together to make the Twin Cities Chapter the best that it can be? We have lots of opportunities on several different committees with varying levels of time commitments. Education Policy CommitteeTeam sets policies and guidelines for certification and
continuing education classes.
If you're interested in participating as a volunteer on the Education Policy Committee, please contact the Vice President Education. Seminars CommitteeTeam plans and coordinates 2-3 seminars / year. If you're interested in participating as a volunteer on the Seminars Committee, please contact the Vice President Seminars. Programs CommitteeTeam plans and hosts monthly Professional Development Meetings from September through June. If you're interested in participating as a volunteer on the Programs Committee, please contact the Vice President Programs. Membership CommitteeTeam supports
membership retention and promotion. If you're interested in participating as a volunteer on the Membership Committee, please contact the Vice President Membership. Marketing and Sales CommitteeTeam supports all
marketing efforts related to the chapter. If you're interested in participating as a volunteer on the Marketing Committee, please contact the Vice President Marketing and Sales. Academic & Career Development CommitteeTeam works with and supports the student chapters and mentors student members. If you're interested in participating as a volunteer on the Academic & Career Development Committee, please contact the Vice President Career & Academic Development. Finance CommitteeTeam is responsible for the financial reporting, accounting, and tax filing for the chapter. Finance/accounting/tax experience required. If you're interested in participating as a volunteer on the Finance Committee, please contact the Vice President Finance. Volunteers start on a committee and may progress to a leadership role on the Board of Directors if desired dependent upon need and qualifications. Other Board Positions:PresidentSets the agenda and leads the board meetings President - ElectSupports President and completes annual CBar documentation Past PresidentSupports President as advisory counsel.
